About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our warehouse, including inbound logistics and order fulfillment. You will have full support from our existing warehouse management team and report directly to our Warehouse Operations Manager.

  • Achieve high levels of efficiency and productivity in the warehouse environment.
  • Oversee the movement of stock to other locations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Maintain accurate stock control systems, ensuring stock inventories and locations are up-to-date.
  • Review and optimize workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans to meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Ensure sufficient warehouse supplies for daily operations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of logistic KPIs, focusing on cost analysis and delivery performance.
  • Schedule and manage the warehouse team, promoting efficient work flows and minimizing overtime.
  • Continuously improve processes and policies to support business goals.
  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping, health and safety, hygiene, and security standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, minimum 3 years.
  • Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
