HSEQ Specialist

Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team based in Grangemouth. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide QHSE Support: Offer guidance and support to all levels and departments within the business to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Site Visits: Regularly visit sites to provide support on pre-job assessments, evaluate operator competence, and identify relevant training requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Management: Support and assist with the assessment of risks, scrutinize, coach, and develop assessor competency, and provide hands-on input in respect of complex and/or high-hazard activities.
- Safe Systems of Work: Carry out risk assessments for all work processes and prepare Safe Systems of Work.
- Training and Awareness: Raise awareness of QHSE through the creation and delivery of training, toolbox talks, and briefings within the business.
- Compliance and Auditing: Monitor QHSE performance across the business, lead and conduct inspection, tour, and auditing programs, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Incident Investigation: Control the investigations of all accidents and incidents, manage their progress, and communicate results.
- Customer and Supplier Assessment: Manage customer and supplier assessment procedures, ensuring timely completion and up-to-date data.
- Internal Audits: Co-ordinate, lead, and carry out internal audits to show compliance with the ISO Standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the continuous QHSE improvement process of the company.
Requirements:
- Compliance Knowledge: Keep up to date with new legislation and best practices in the industry.
- Communication Skills: Provide guidance and advice to the team on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
