At Behaviour Interactive, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Navigation Systems Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in shaping our AAA project, you'll design and implement cutting-edge navigation systems that set new standards for player experiences in Unreal5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop advanced navigation systems, including data structures and pathfinding algorithms, to ensure seamless and immersive movement for in-game characters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, animators, and other programmers, to align project needs with the overall gameplay vision.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize navigation systems, resolving issues and ensuring performance and reliability across different scenarios.
  • Enhance AI behaviors, including dynamic obstacle avoidance, flocking, and group movements, to create realistic and engaging player experiences.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in AI programming within the gaming industry, with at least 2 years of experience in AI navigation and 5 years in overall programming.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, especially C++, with a deep understanding of AI navigation systems and AI frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges in AI development.
  • Experience developing navigation systems for multiplayer games.
