About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join our dynamic team at our Primary School in Waltham Forest. As a SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, focusing on social, emotional, and academic skills development.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
