Design and Technical Secretary

Join our team as a Design and Technical Secretary and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Design & Technical Department in our Eastern Region in Bury St Edmunds.

We are committed to delivering the highest standards for our customers, alongside the best possible performance for the company. Our Design and Technical team have a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to complement their existing talent.

As a Design and Technical Secretary, you will be working at the heart of a busy department where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for taking minutes, maintaining databases, managing diaries, inputting data, and producing reports and information packs.

You will also liaise with third parties to register new developments, obtain appropriate certificates, and energy supplier references. This varied and rewarding role provides opportunities to build relationships with everyone from team members to suppliers and contractors, and positively influence design and technical processes for the benefit of the department.

We are looking for a real team-worker with proven secretarial or administrative experience gained in a fast-moving office environment. Excellent communication, keyboard, and IT skills are a must, whilst a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach will be key.
