Prosthetist Role at Opcare

We are seeking a skilled Prosthetist to join our team at Opcare, part of the Ability Matters Group. As a Prosthetist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality prosthetic care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use advanced shape capture methods to fit and deliver prostheses in a timely manner.
  • Mentor students, graduates, and clinical apprentices to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Support less-experienced colleagues and lead by example to achieve patient and business-led objectives.
  • Collaborate with the prosthetic team to advance and improve the delivery of the service.
  • Participate in clinical audit and ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Prosthetist with all levels of limb difference.
  • Upper limb experience preferred but not essential.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
