About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students in the school, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate and assess students' progress to ensure they meet the desired standards.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, and effectively manage classroom behavior to maintain discipline.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans, engage in regular meetings, professional development, and training sessions to enhance teaching practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, grammar, and culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
