This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, with overtime opportunities available. The successful candidate will be responsible for refining their existing Mechanical and Hydraulic skills and applying them to ROV tooling and Manipulator systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strip, inspect, and assess subsea hydraulic and mechanical systems such as ROB tools and rate-controlled manipulator systems.
- Conduct repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance tasks on hydraulic and mechanical equipment, ensuring adherence to company standards and specifications.
- Produce through assessment reports, including photographs, fault identification, and recommended repair actions.
- Prepare accurate cost quotations for repairs based on assessments.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, following company and industry quality protocols.
- Provide support during equipment testing or mobilisation at client sites, as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Mechanical and hydraulic equipment essential.
- Time Served Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician.
- Knowledge/experience of ROV tooling and rate-controlled manipulator systems desirable.
- Basic knowledge of computing tasks to create engineering reports and costs.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role, maintaining professional image at all times.
