Job Description

Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 + benefits.

Hours: Nights - 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery. You will also deal with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs. Additionally, you will assist with planned shutdowns and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
  • Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments.
  • Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery.
  • Any experience of SOME of the following: Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc.
  • Motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company.

Location: Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth, and surrounding areas.
