About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef/Cook to join our team at ESS in Dundee. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality food that meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with our talented culinary teams to prepare and serve delicious meals that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our menus and food services, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in terms of culinary innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive brand image and ensuring our clients and customers feel valued and cared for.
  • Contribute to reducing food waste levels and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Support with all kitchen organization, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities, ensuring our facilities are always safe and hygienic.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, ensuring we maintain the highest levels of food safety and quality.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of our team members and clients.
Requirements
  • Be passionate about world-class food and customer service, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Have experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Have a good understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene standards, with a strong commitment to maintaining the highest levels of food safety and quality.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied shifts and contribute to the success of our team.
