Commercial Contract Management Opportunity



We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Manager to join our team in Dyer & Butler. As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of our streetlighting contracts, reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor.



About the Role


  • Manage and oversee the commercial aspects of our streetlighting contracts, ensuring that all changes are captured and submitted to clients within contractual timescales.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including monthly CVR (Cost Value Reporting) and forecasts, to stakeholders.
  • Manage work-in-progress (WIP) cash collections and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and EWN (Early Warning Notice) processes to mitigate potential risks.
  • Attend regular commercial and operational meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Procure and manage subcontract accounts, ensuring timely payments and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the role.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • Proven experience in commercial contract management, preferably in the streetlighting sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in software such as Mayrise and/or Confirm.
