As a leading hotel in Reading, The Roseate Reading embodies opulence and warmth.

We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Assistant to join our luxury hotel brand at The Roseate Reading. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in providing top-notch service and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the efficient operation of all plant, boiler, air conditioning, and heating equipment in the hotel.
  • Perform emergency repairs and short-term maintenance, prioritizing guest rooms and services.
  • Liaise with Service Engineers and other departments to address breakdowns and coordinate maintenance.
  • Manage and check maintenance stock levels, ordering as necessary to ensure service continuity.
  • Comply with the hotel's Health and Safety policies, including fire alarm system checks, emergency procedures, and electrical regulations.
  • Adhere to all security and key procedures, especially when dealing with external contractors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, safe working practices, and other hotel and company rules.
