About the role

As a Void Officer, you will be responsible for managing our maintenance voids, processing pre-void inspections, and coordinating repair works to meet our KPIs. You will work with registered providers, approved contractors, and our in-house maintenance team to ensure our properties are ready to let on time.

You will keep void records up to date, assist with preparing void reports, and work to build relationships with internal and external partners to achieve value for money. Additionally, you will identify areas for process improvement with our Caretakers and Service Teams to deliver an efficient void service.

About you:

  • You have experience negotiating and communicating clear, concise, and effective works specifications, and effectively liaising with internal and external partners.
  • You have a strong understanding of the financial impact of ineffective void or maintenance processes and can find ways to reduce waste and achieve best value for money.
  • You have proven strong administration skills, including the ability to use database systems to record void progress.
  • You have strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering the service.
  • You are self-motivated and understand the impact of your work and follow through.
  • You have proven experience of managing and prioritizing a busy workload, working to meet competing deadlines.
