About the Role

The Accessible Resources Acquisition and Creation Unit (ARACU) of the Bodleian Libraries, Research and Learning Support is seeking an Administrative and Resources Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position, working 36.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for searching online for materials, scanning and editing alternative formats, and communicating with libraries and publishers to acquire materials for users. The ARACU team is located in a nature-rich area and is responsible for creating and supplying alternative formats to print-disabled students.

About You

We are looking for an individual with an awareness of the importance of good customer care and a commitment to providing excellent quality service. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, discreetly, and courteously with readers, colleagues, and the public. They will also have the ability to work well within a small team, communicate and liaise with others over daily tasks, and prioritize tasks and work confidently under pressure, maintaining excellent standards of quality and customer care.
