Job Title: Employability Tutor

This is a full-time permanent role working on-site for our esteemed organisation, focusing on enhancing the employability skills of post-16 learners.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in teaching Employability programmes to young adults. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging, interactive lessons to learners studying Employability qualifications.
  • Curriculum Development: Contributing to the course review process, curriculum development, and quality assurance in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Funding Compliance: Ensuring learner documentation is accurate and completed to facilitate eligibility for funding.
  • Quality Meetings: Attending regular meetings with the quality team to discuss programme progress and address any concerns.

To excel in this role, candidates should hold:

  • A Level 3 (or above) qualification in any vocational subject.
  • A Level 3 (or above) teaching qualification or assessing qualification (the client is willing to consider an individual with Employability teaching experience who does not possess a teaching qualification).
  • Previous experience in teaching learners aged between 11-16 or 16-18 on either Traineeship, Employability Skills, or Study Programme courses.

In return, the successful Employability Tutor will receive:

  • An annual salary of up to £26,000.
  • 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
