About the Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Workforce Coordinator to join International Procurement & Logistics. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to take their career to the next level in a global business with significant growth prospects.

This role involves scheduling workforce according to business needs, both in advance and on short notice. The successful candidate will be communicating daily with managers, supervisors, and leaders regarding staffing issues. A 4 on 4 off shift pattern applies, operating between 7am and 7pm.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

•Data input into the Time Management System, ensuring accurate and timely recording of absence and non-compliance

•Monitoring absence, reporting, and escalating as required. Ensuring policies and procedures relevant to absence are adhered to by the team, colleagues, and Operational Leaders

•Booking holidays in line with policy and guidelines, escalating any issues to the Manager and colleagues' Leader

•Collating requirements and/or requests for overtime and Shift Swaps, ensuring the Manager can allocate in accordance with policy and guidelines

•Supporting the Manager in addressing clocking anomalies, i.e., failures to clock, early leaving, etc., and managing/escalating as appropriate

•Arranging the induction of colleagues, including factory tours, introductions, and follow-ups

•Liaising with internal departments to create a robust manpower plan based on volumes, skill levels, capability of colleagues, etc., to ensure smooth operation of lines

•Demonstrating company values and supporting others within the operation

•Building and maintaining effective working relationships with all relevant internal and external customers, including Planning, Operations, Technical, Payroll, HRBP's, L&D

The ideal candidate will have:

•IT literacy – basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate desirable)

•Experience working within a large, fast-paced operations/factory/production site, ideally within FMCG/pharmaceuticals

•Developing excellent working relationships with stakeholders (customers/clients/managers)

•Maintaining discretion and respect for confidentiality

•Forward thinking with good planning skills

•Strong influencing and motivational skills

•Clear communication style, face-to-face, written, and via telephone

•Confidence in front of opposition or challenge

•Previous experience working with KPI's (desirable)
