Truck Technician

Our team is seeking an experienced Truck Technician to work on a full-time, permanent basis. As a skilled professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality maintenance of our fleet.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team that offers a variation of duties each day. The role comes with a 45-hour working week between Monday and Saturday.

About You:

1. You hold a Mechanics Level 2/3 qualification
2. You have experience in a truck environment
3. You are competent in tyre fitting and repairs
4. You possess a Full Valid Driving Licence
5. You have excellent customer service skills
6. You have experience in a professional workshop environment
7. You can ensure work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures
8. You can work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment
9. You have the willingness to constantly learn and improve your knowledge
10. You can act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work

Your Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all work completed on each vehicle is done safely and to a high standard
2. Complete fast-fit tyre fitting while being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments
3. Work in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations
4. Ensure you do not work on any product or service that you have not been assessed as competent in or trained to carry out
5. Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures
6. Make customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers' vehicle

Salary Estimate: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
