About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forestry and Arboriculture professional to join our team as a Trainer and Assessor. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality industry training and assessing student competence in a range of areas, including climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw maintenance, and cross-cutting and felling small trees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry training for a variety of certificates of competency
  • Assess student competence in climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw maintenance, cross-cutting and felling small trees, and other areas
  • Work with apprentices, Further Education students, and adult short course attendees
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and training programs
