About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Specialist Residential Support Service in Ynystawe Lodge, Swansea. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our staff team and providing person-centred care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the staff team in providing excellent care and support to our service users with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Advocate for our service users and ensure their needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with our service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.

Requirements

  • QCF level 3 qualification or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
