Our school is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team in Tameside. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have a recognized teaching qualification, experience teaching students with SEN, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SEN department and class teachers to plan and deliver tailored lessons, creating an inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and inclusion. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEN.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer continuous opportunities for professional development and growth, as well as a collaborative environment with a supportive and talented team.

As a dedicated SEN Teacher, you will have the chance to develop your skills in differentiating the curriculum and supporting students with SEN. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing student progress and adapting lesson plans accordingly
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting students in the development of their social, emotional, and behavioral skills
