About the Role
We are currently seeking a Tax Manager for Corporate Clients to join our team at Michael Page (UK).
Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of business tax clients to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Assist with training and management of the business tax team.
- Advise and assist corporates in respect of their business and tax requirements.
- Develop business tax focused knowledge with a working understanding of other areas of tax.
- Proactively identify opportunities for tax planning, risk mitigation, and cross-selling.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues within the business tax team.
- Ensure adherence to the firm's technical, ethical, risk, and compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Experience of working with corporate clients and managing compliance processes.
- Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and/or CIOT tax adviser with at least one year's post-qualification experience.
- Corporate tax technical and practical knowledge.
- Good knowledge of tax issues affecting corporates and their shareholders.
- Knowledge of other business taxes and tax reporting processes is preferable.
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards and competent in interpreting accounts and other financial information.
