Commercial Strategy Lead

Join us at Foodsteps, a leading provider of specialised food sustainability solutions, as we embark on a mission to empower the food industry to accelerate its journey to net zero. We are seeking an experienced Head of Revenue Growth to lead our revenue growth strategy and drive business expansion.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B software sales, ideally within an early-stage business, and possess a deep understanding of the climate crisis and its impact on the food industry. They will work closely with the CEO, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align Sales with customer needs and market trends, fostering a data-driven culture with a focus on timely CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with Foodsteps' business goals and product evolution, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
- Work closely with the CEO, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align Sales with customer needs and market trends.
- Foster a data-driven culture with a focus on timely CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting.
- Continually review sales performance on a team and individual basis, providing feedback, setting goals, and adjusting strategies to improve results.
The successful candidate will be expected to generate their own pipeline, with a proven track record in driving new business while always looking for ways to generate revenue with clients through strategic approaches. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £130,000 - £160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 27 paid holiday days, flexible working, volunteering days, and climate perks travel days.
