CAD Infrastructure Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Infrastructure Manager to join Tony Gee and Partners, supporting the management of CAD delivery on our major projects in England.

Predominantly working on a large framework across multiple highway projects, you will be supporting our multi-disciplinary design teams with the implementation and management of CAD systems and standardisation. As a CAD Infrastructure Manager, you will play a crucial role in integrating with project teams' leadership structures and ensuring adherence to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project CAD standards documentation.
  • Implement CAD best practices and standardisation of the drawing and model development process.
  • Audit and peer review of project CAD deliverables for compliance with standards.
  • Identify potential efficiencies in the CAD production process.
  • Develop project-level CAD customisations and automation.
  • Ddeliver training on CAD standards to project teams.
Requirements:
  • Deep technical knowledge of various CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D.
  • Development and implementation of project CAD standards.
  • Development of CAD customisation in 1 or more common CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D).
  • Experience working with common data environments, i.e. ProjectWise, 360Docs etc.
  • Min. six years of industry experience in the infrastructure sector.
  • Min. three years' experience managing CAD on projects.
  • Experience working with multiple design teams across complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • HNC or equivalent experience.
  • Achieved or working towards a professional qualification.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Working to Client standards such as National Highways GG184.
  • Highways experience.
  • Dynamo/other visual coding skills.
  • Working with Common Data Environments.

  • Commutable distance to one of our UK offices.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
