Job Summary:

Supporting Futures Consulting Ltd is seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to support the management of refuge services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of housing management and service provision, working closely with the Service Manager to meet funding and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing refuge services for women and children, ensuring high-quality support in line with operational policies.
  • Provide supervision and line management to staff, overseeing complex casework, including child protection and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Work closely with other agencies and represent the service in multi-agency meetings.
  • Ensure services meet quality standards and that case records are maintained professionally and accurately.
  • Assist in managing budgets, rent collections, and ensuring services meet housing law requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing services for vulnerable individuals, particularly women and children.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and case management.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service
  • Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle would be highly desirable.
