Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is a leading provider of specialist mental health services, with a reputation for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, a 19-bed acute mental health service for men.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce comprehensive written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve service quality
  • Attend training and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Administer prescribed medicines in accordance with healthcare procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • Open, compassionate, honest, and resilient individual
  • Newly qualified (or soon to be qualified) RMN/RNLD with a current valid registration
  • Ability to maintain documentation and undertake audits
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices
  • Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
  • Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage, and reduce risk
