Main Responsibilities

As a sonographer in the ultrasound department at Bradford Teaching Hospital Trust, you will be responsible for:

  • Scanning and reporting in your ultrasound speciality;
  • Mentoring and supervising students and newly qualified sonographers;
  • Managing patient lists and operating and managing systems including patient management, reporting and picture archiving systems;
  • Understanding information governance, quality and safety, and confidentiality.
