Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with a love of design and making, and equipping them with the skills to create, innovate, and solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching Design & Technology curriculum that fosters creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of design principles and processes.
  • Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading design clubs, organizing workshops, and competitions, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Design & Technology education.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes across a range of disciplines, including product design, textiles, and graphics.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's ethos and values.

What We Offer:
