Culinary Artisan

We are currently recruiting a skilled Culinary Artisan to join our team at Compass Group UK & I. Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. This will involve overseeing and implementing menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services, and listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Overseeing kitchen operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our food services.
• Representing Compass Group UK & I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and monitoring stocks to prevent waste.
• Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements:

• A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in culinary arts.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work a variety of shifts.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
