Restructuring Advisory Specialist

An exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of commercial skills and experience across advisory and formal members voluntary liquidation assignments with the Restructuring National Corporate Simplification team.
Key Responsibilities- To complete assignments in accordance with the Firm's standard procedures and where relevant statutory obligations, and to confirm arrangements with the client, company, or appointer, including likely costs and billing arrangements.
- To work closely alongside other team members to plan and execute assignments, and potentially manage appropriate cases as required, in accordance with the Firm's standard procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory obligations.
- To assist in the delivery of orderly wind downs, corporate reorganisation assignments, and work on members voluntary liquidation appointments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring that clients and other interested parties receive a quality service in all respects.
- To ensure that the job is completed within budget, and to discuss all material points arising with the assignment partner and client or appointer as these arise, particularly in relation to any anticipated overruns, or significant changes in likely outcome.
- To liaise with the shareholders, directors, and other interested parties throughout any assignment as required, and to practise the principles of excellent client service at all times.
- Previous experience in client handling.
- Experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Members Voluntary Liquidations in a similar role and CPI qualified would be an advantage, but not a prerequisite as full training will be given.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and able to demonstrate a strong commercial outlook.
- Proven communication skills due to internal and external client contact.
- Commitment to high-quality delivery within agreed timeframes.
