Job Role:

The successful candidate will be working across a Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is a full-time, long-term post with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting KS3-5 lessons in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department">
  • Focusing on attainment & the quality of learning">
  • Working closely with other teachers and staff members to ensure a smooth learning environment">
  • Enrolling onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School either starting September 2025 or 2026">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a desirable degree from one of the following subjects: Biology (Science), Chemistry (Science), Geology (Science), Natural Sciences (Science), Mathematics & Physics (Science), Mathematics (Maths), Mathematics & Statistics (Maths), Economics (Maths), Mathematical Sciences (Maths), Physics (Maths), Computer Science, or Engineering.

The candidate should also have good A Levels & GCSEs across the board and be confident within their ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum.
