**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Server Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Motion Pictures Solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization.

Motion Pictures Solutions is a leading international film services company that provides end-to-end solutions for theatrical film delivery. With a focus on innovation, high expertise, and fast turnaround times, we aim to drive the global cinema industry forward.

In this role, you will work with our Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include ensuring network security and performance, collaborating with the Network Architect to develop and implement network strategies, mentoring junior engineers, and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Network Architect in the design, deployment, and management of an enterprise-level network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network security and performance by monitoring and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Collaborate with the Network Architect to develop and implement network strategies and solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Manage and maintain network hardware and software from various vendors.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and policies.
  • Conduct regular network performance assessments and capacity planning.
  • Implement and manage network monitoring tools and protocols.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco networking equipment and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with network security practices and technologies.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting.
  • Experience with cloud networking.
