About the Role

As a Treasury Operations Specialist at British Land, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Treasury Operations in the day-to-day management and running of Treasury Operations. This role is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking to develop or further a career in treasury.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy and analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. They will also be self-motivated, responsive, and collaborative, with good communication skills and the ability to produce well-thought-through reports and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily liquidity management, including operation of revolving credit facilities, dealing of derivatives, deposits, FX, and associated payments
  • Bank loan and capital markets debt compliance (including quarterly securitisation reports)
  • Treasury Operations reporting (including monitoring derivatives portfolio and bond valuations), counterparty exposure monitoring, Derivatives Committee papers and analysis
  • Management of debt security asset pools, e.g. ongoing compliance and reporting to Trustee, property charging, releases and substitutions
  • Maintenance of treasury management system (currently City Financials) and review of system reports
  • Contribute to Treasury Operations improvements to processes and systems
  • Input into financing and interest rate management strategy and implementation
  • Assisting the wider Treasury team with banking transactions and capital market issuance as required
  • Contribute to the development of British Land's bank lender and other external relationships
  • Documentation of ISDAs
  • Compliance with and monitoring of relevant legislation
  • Ad hoc projects including with other finance and property team colleagues across the business
