Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct materials are used and documented on relevant reports.
  • Verify machine parts comply with drawing details and process routers are duly documented.
  • Maintain calibration of MT&E to specifications.
  • Ensure components undergo relevant NDT and heat treatment operations.
  • Assemble parts according to drawing assembly details.
  • Document factory acceptance and integration tests.
  • Process inspection and non-conformance reports.
  • Liaise with customer inspection representatives.
  • Verify raw and finished materials meet purchase order requirements.
  • Ensure supplied certification meets purchase order requirements.
  • Process goods receiving reports and certification.
  • Verify condition and description of outgoing parts meet order requirements.

Requirements

  • Considerable experience in Quality Control.
  • Inspection and testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read and understand Engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with various measuring equipment.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Additional Requirements

  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • Previous experience working with Oil Field equipment (preferred).

Estimated Salary: £16-17 per hour (overtime available)
