Job Overview

As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our restaurant management team and driving the daily operations of our restaurants. You will work closely with our Principal Operator/Area Manager to ensure the financial well-being of the operation, while maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, sanitation, and security standards, and develop action plans for improvement as needed.
  • Meet food cost and labor goals, and manage P&L statements in accordance with financial control and security standards.
  • Adapt quickly to changing trends, market, and environmental conditions, and modify store plans to meet business targets.

  • Set high standards for yourself and others, and recruit, hire, and bench plan team members to meet business needs.
  • Implement restaurant training programs to enable team members to meet standards, maximize performance, and realize their career potential.
  • Oversee training, development, and performance management of restaurant teams.

  • Create a culture of recognition, and build strong customer relations by engaging with all customers.
  • Demonstrate self-responsibility and a helpful, upbeat, friendly, and positive attitude at all times with restaurant team and customers.
  • Ensure positive customer experience by taking feedback from customers and resolving complaints.

Educational & Experience Requirements

  • 3 years of multi-outlet food retail or service industry experience at a supervisory/management level, preferred.
  • Proven track record of on-target performance in Balanced Scorecard KPIs (or equivalent) with primary profit responsibility.
  • Certified in Leading a Restaurant (LAR).
  • Clear ITC check.
  • Ability to move as required between restaurants according to the needs of the business as determined by Pizza Hut from time to time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
