Ignite Selection is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering cost management duties and building strong relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside an Associate or Director to successfully deliver cost management duties
  • Building a rapport with clients, attending meetings and speaking on behalf of Ignite Selection, acting as the main contact
  • Covering the entire project lifecycle, from preparing feasibility estimates to final account settlements
  • Helping grow the business through collaborative relationships with our existing and potential new clients
  • Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and preparing reports in line with clients' own reporting procedures and governance
  • Managing contract change effectively, pricing and agreeing contract variations with contractors
  • Undertaking valuations of construction work
  • Providing commercial knowledge and guidance to clients

Requirements include:

  • Good knowledge of the construction industry
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel as well as the wider MS software suite of programs
  • Collaborative approach to projects and the ability to delegate tasks to junior staff efficiently
  • Competent user of CAD Measure
  • Good communication skills
  • A flexible attitude and self-motivated

Qualifications include:

  • RICS Chartership
  • 2+ years' experience
