Maths Teacher Opportunity


EdEx – Education Recruitment is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join their team at a consistently outstanding comprehensive school in Greenwich. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to teach maths to students across Key Stages 3-5.


About the Role



  • Teach maths to students across Key Stages 3-5, utilizing established schemes of work and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging maths lessons, promoting student learning and progress.
  • Contribute to the development of the maths department, sharing expertise and ideas to enhance teaching practices.
  • Possibility to take on leadership roles, including Head of KS3 Maths, BTEC Maths Lead, or Head of Year (Year 7 or Year 8), depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements



  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant maths teaching qualifications.
  • Confidence in using technology to support teaching and learning, with a genuine passion for STEM education.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of students, teachers, and the school community, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
