About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to join our team at Jbd Tritec Limited. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our fabrication projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating and accepting enquiries from initial contact through to site visits, client meetings and pricing to tender stage.
  • Receiving and processing orders, organising drawings etc, procurement of materials and issuing work instructions.
  • Management of the works through our fabrication workshops.
  • Competent in preparation of associated documentation, risk assessments, method statements, programs etc.
  • Managing tradesmen during fabrication and site installations including any subcontract activities.
  • All aspects of project management, planning and problem solving.
  • Managing projects to completion and to the acceptance of clients.
  • Client retention focusing on meeting budgets and programs to ensure repeat business by delivering good quality installation and overall project satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Relevant expertise in fabrication, preferably in both stainless and carbon steel.
  • Experience in the manufacture and install of walkways/structures/platforms/tanks and vessels.
  • Valid driving licence and based in our Glasgow office.
