Job Description

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Nightshift Order Picker & Packer to join our client's team at their Nutts Corner facility. This is a temporary position with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Locate and pick goods from the stockroom for customer orders
  • Pack and prepare orders for delivery
  • Work in a fast-paced stockroom environment, maintaining a high level of productivity
  • Sort and manage goods, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Perform dispatch duties, including handling and processing customer orders
  • Conduct location management and stock check functions to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, as set out by the client
  • Operate handheld scanners to track and manage inventory
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a retail, stockroom, or warehouse environment
  • Own transportation is essential, as public transportation is not available in the area
  • Previous experience using handheld scanners is desirable
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work 4 consecutive nights per week, from 5:30 pm to 6:00 am. The rate of pay is £11.85 to £12.50 per hour for those over 21, and £10.50 per hour for those under 21.
