Job Overview

The role of an Electrical and Facilities Maintenance Engineer at PRS is to ensure the smooth operation of our data centre facilities. With a strong focus on electrical and mechanical systems, you will be responsible for maintaining 100% uptime availability.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with full Electrical or Mechanical qualifications to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be proactive in identifying and resolving issues, working closely with sub-contracted resources when necessary.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems, as well as experience with BMS, PMS, and CMS operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability.
  2. Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution, and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms, and suppression etc).
  3. Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS.
  4. Managing sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the business.
  5. Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduled activity.

This position comes with an excellent benefits package, including a basic salary of £60,000, annual cash bonus, private healthcare, salary sacrifice pension scheme, and 23 shifts annual leave.
