Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital (CUH) Digestive Diseases' Service.
The successful candidate will lead on evidence-based psychological provision in the area of digestive diseases, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), pre-surgical assessments, post-surgical support, and patients with complex presentations.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide psychological expertise to the medical team based in CUH, with flexibility for remote working.
- Work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions for patients with digestive diseases.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with a wide range of service user groups, including those with complex presentations.
- Ability to communicate complex information to service users, families, and other professionals.
- Advanced IT and keyboard skills.
