Family Wellbeing Support Role Overview


Includem is seeking a dedicated Family Wellbeing Support Worker to join our team in Glasgow, working closely with families to increase resilience and improve health and wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Build trusting relationships with families, helping them identify goals and strengthen positive family dynamics.
  • Conduct assessments and provide support using approaches like the Solihull model and restorative practices.
  • Deliver flexible, tailored support to meet the individual needs of children, young people, and families.
  • Work with community resources and local organizations to support lasting positive change within families.
  • Identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns, using professional judgment.
  • Empower families to communicate effectively and advocate for their needs.

Requirements:



  • Experience working with children, young people, and families facing challenging life circumstances.
  • Skills in multi-disciplinary collaboration and understanding of trauma and adversity on families.
  • Strengths-based approach to empower families to find solutions and thrive.
  • Professional resilience and ability to maintain open relationships.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with flexibility to respond to families' needs.
  • Relevant qualification and ability to work towards SCQF Level 8.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
