About the Role:

Benchmark Capital is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Duty Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing our Consumer Duty initiatives. This exciting opportunity will involve leading the development, oversight, and execution of these initiatives, ensuring that Consumer Duty outcomes are skillfully managed, risks are mitigated, and compliance is upheld across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile essential Consumer Duty metrics for quarterly and annual reports, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Assess, monitor, and steer Benchmark's alignment with Consumer Duty outcomes, ensuring that our practices are fair and transparent.
  • Manage annual fair value assessments, ensuring management and Board approval, and maintaining a strong risk management culture.
  • Facilitate regulatory reporting and information exchange within the distribution chain, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct client surveys, analyze feedback, and pinpoint opportunities for service improvement, driving continuous quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise business units on best practices for achieving positive client outcomes, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Provide Consumer Duty obligation training and share 'Lessons Learned' within the company, ensuring that our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this area.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between various stakeholders and the Group Propositions & Adviser Services Director, providing exceptional support and guidance.
  • Organize meeting agendas, compile minutes, and oversee action items and commitments, ensuring that our team is well-coordinated and effective.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated excellence in documentation and senior management support, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in large data set analysis, exception reporting, and extracting actionable insights, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision making.
  • Robust knowledge of relevant regulations and their business implications, with a strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing, with a strong ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality, with a strong focus on delivering accurate and reliable results.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
