About the Role
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation Officer to join our team. As a key member of our clinical training team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs to empower healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively in critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive Basic Life Support and Immediate Life Support courses to healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate resuscitation-related training programs
- Lead the development of clinical training materials and resources
- Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with local and national guidelines
- Provide subject matter expert advice and support to clinical teams
Requirements
- Registered Health Care Professional with current registration with NMC, HCPC as appropriate
- Teaching qualification (or working towards) such as PTTLS, AET or equivalent experience
- Evidence of recent and ongoing personal development
- Experience of working in acute care environment (pre-hospital or in hospital)
- Experience of mentoring and/or training other healthcare professionals
