We're committed to delivering exceptional food and service, and we're looking for a skilled Assistant Chef to join our team.
The RoleAs an Assistant Chef in one of our schools, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering healthy, nutritious, and fun menus for students and staff. You'll focus on delivering high-quality food and service, while showcasing your creativity and flair.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing menus using provided recipes
- Ensuring food hygiene, allergen, and health and safety compliance
- Producing hospitality services as per client requests
- Supervising the team
- Building relationships with clients and customers
- Providing excellent customer service
We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. You'll need:
- Knowledge of education catering and experience with fresh ingredients
- Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training available)
- Excellent health and safety knowledge
- Computer literacy and experience with different systems
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve
We offer a great work-life balance, with Monday to Friday hours during term time. You'll enjoy:
- 40 hours per week, with no late nights
- 39 weeks per year, based around term time
- A highly competitive salary
