We are seeking an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, based in the picturesque town of Buxton. As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychological services, working closely with colleagues to promote positive outcomes for clients. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in complex trauma and associated diagnoses, aligning with the trust's commitment to innovative and evidence-based practice.
Job Responsibilities- Provide individual and group clinical work with clients, promoting psychological well-being and empowerment.
- Offer advice and consultation to colleagues, multi-disciplinary practitioners, and the wider organization, contributing to service development and improvement.
- Supervise and train staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Good Honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) and eligibility for Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- A Post-graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, accredited by the British Health Professional Council (BHPC).
- Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC and eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS.
- Post-qualification training in supervision and specialist areas relevant to adult mental health.
We offer a competitive salary of £54,029 - £76,088 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
- 27 days annual leave/year, increasing to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years service.
