About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Real Estate Surveyor to join our team at NFU Mutual. As a key member of our Corporate Real Estate Surveying team, you will be responsible for implementing our property portfolio strategy across the UK, including Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our occupied/leasehold portfolio, ensuring compliance with the Group's requirements and policies.
  • Implement property strategy, including managing the life cycle of property, from initial lease acquisition and fit-out to disposal/relocation.
  • Review space requirements and acquire suitable property where required, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor external providers, such as managing agents, letting agents, and legal advisors, to ensure services are delivered within the terms of contract agreements.
  • Assist with the delivery of short-term and one-off projects, involving many aspects of general practice surveying.

About You:

  • RICS qualified, with expertise and credentials in the field of commercial surveying.
  • Strong relationships based on trust, with the ability to consider and act upon stakeholders' needs.
  • Team player, seeking and acting on feedback from others, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands.
  • Consistently producing work to a high standard, using market knowledge and experience to identify opportunities to help the business succeed.

Requirements:

  • Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Proficient in Excel and experience of property databases such as Qube.
  • Good understanding of financial budget management.
  • Clean driving license and ability to travel to our UK-wide sites.
