About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Consultant to lead our dermatology service within a community-based setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering onsite clinical sessions in a community environment, encompassing general adult dermatology clinics, Isotretinoin initiation clinics, and minor surgical procedures.
- Providing support to General Practitioners (GPs) with extended roles in Dermatology through teaching, appraisals, and remote consultations.
- Actively participating in audit, research initiatives, and the management of service elements related to dermatology.
- Developing and refining clinical care pathways for optimal patient management.
- Ensuring adherence to Clinical Governance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- GMC registration with a valid license to practice.
- CCT in Dermatology.
- On the GMC Specialist Register.
- Valid DBS check within 12 months.
- Personal indemnity insurance that fully covers all patient care delivered under this agreement.
- Evidence of a recent appraisal.
- Active membership of a relevant professional governing body.
