About the Job

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Avon Valley Care Home in Kingswood, Bristol.

The role involves working closely with the Care team to deliver high-quality care to residents, promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

  • Assessing and meeting the needs of residents, including medication administration and care planning.
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to residents, their families, and carers.
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the overall quality of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work flexibly.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
