Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced M&A Associate to join our team in London. As an M&A Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our senior M&A experts in their structured business development initiatives, conducting research, creating process documentation, and applying valuation techniques to support client advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research: Assist senior M&A experts in conducting research within dedicated subsectors, providing valuable insights to support business development initiatives.
  • Presentation: Create process documentation, including pitchbooks, information memorandums, and management presentations, to effectively communicate client advice.
  • Valuation: Apply a range of valuation techniques, including DCF, multiple analyses, LBO, and other approaches, to support client advice.
  • Execution: Support the team in executing the transaction process, both internally and with clients, investors, and other advisors.
  • Relationship: Develop relationships with c-level clients and senior M&A professionals, providing exceptional service and expertise.

Requirements

  • Education: Excellent academic credentials, including a Master's Degree from a top-tier university, with demonstrated quantitative skills and a well-developed knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
  • Work Experience: Significant M&A advisory experience (minimum 3 years) in a bulge bracket, boutique, or BIG 4 environment.
  • Personal Skills: Structured and analytical thinking, service-provider mentality, entrepreneurial passion, hard-working and attention to detail, flexible and curious mind-set, international exposure, team player, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Language Skills: English (excellent writing and speaking skills are a MUST), German and a third language are desirable.
  • Right to Work in UK: Right to work in the UK is required, and work sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
