Mobile Digital Installation Engineer

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a skilled Mobile Digital Installation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

This role will involve supporting the Digital Division with the installation of Trimble Earthworks, GCS900, and Leica MC1 machine control systems on-site for customers or in one of the depots situated around the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver and fit wiring harnesses to pre-approved specifications on customer sites
  2. Calibrate harnesses to ensure optimal performance
  3. Perform welding and fabrication of sensor brackets and mast mounts
  4. Install human form recognition cameras, height, and slew restrictors, and other innovative solutions as the role evolves
Requirements:
  1. Full driving license
  2. Sound knowledge of auto-electrical and mechanical systems
  3. Digital machine control systems expertise, specifically Trimble Earthworks and Leica MC1
  4. Previous experience in setting up and calibrating excavators and dozers
  5. High standard of welding and fabrication skills, including hot works
  6. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  7. Understanding of risk assessments and method statements
